2016 Break ground Event for First Freehold Mixed Development Project in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.
After unveiling a special commemorative backdrop, Dr Wang Kai Yuen, Chairman of SGX mainboard-listed HLH Group along with the Guest of Honour – His Excellency, Yun Min, Governor of Sihanoukville and Dato Johnny Ong, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the HLH Group, launched the ground-breaking ceremony of D’Seaview, the company’s first freehold mixed development project in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, on Saturday morning (January 16, 2016).
The ground-breaking ceremony held at the 9,818-square-metre site in Sihanoukville, also saw about 200 guests from Cambodia & Singapore in attendance for the milestone event for the HLH group.
The freehold site located near the popular and scenic Sokha Beach, is the first freehold mixed development project by the HLH Group in Cambodia.
Following the successful establishment of its agri-division, HLH Group Limited has added a property arm, Public Housing Development (Cambodia) Ltd in 2015.
It plans to acquire land parcels to develop residential and commercial properties in key cities and provinces in Cambodia.
HLH has set up “CAMHOMES” – its official brand under Public Housing Development (Cambodia) Ltd for residential project in Cambodia to focus on developing quality housing for the lower to middle-income market catering mainly to young couples and young entrepreneurs.
CAMHOMES will offer both full condominium and prime apartments in three key cities: Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville before eventually moving onto other provinces of Cambodia when demand arise.
D’Kranji Farm Resort is under the management of HLH Agri R&D Pte Ltd, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of HLH Group Limited.
D’Kranji Farm Resort first opened to the public in September 2008, with the opening graced by 吴宗宪, Jacky Wu. It is Singapore’s first and only Agri-tainment farm, located in 10 Neo Tiew Lane 2 Singapore 718813, Kranji Countryside.
Since 2008, the Group has expanded its footprint beyond Singapore to Cambodia where both its core businesses are now established. The Group’s agri-subsidiary, HLH Agriculture (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, is in the business of acquiring and developing land parcels into fully functional farms for potential investors with interests in the agricultural sector in Southeast Asia.
The company successfully launched its first freehold property development project, D’Ecosia located at 27 Still Road.

On 21st June, the company was successfully listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Stock Exchange under “Hong Lai Huat Group Limited”.
With the success completion of constructing numerous HDBs, Shopping, Community Centre and Industrial Projects, the Company received G8 ranking from the Building and Construction Authority. This is an industry benchmark that allows companies to tender for public-sector projects with no limitation on the value of projects.
